Muslims in Palestine attend early morning services at mosques to hear once again about Ibrahim’s willingness to obey Allah. They may also attend sunrise outdoor prayers sessions.

Many will sacrifice a goat, sheep, cow, or other animal on this day, and that means the streets can be packed with livestock.

Later, at home, families and friends find time to visit and feast and celebrate together. Sweets are often given to children, and food and money are shared with the poor.
